All set for the Challenger Trophy

The Challenger Trophy was introduced by the BCCI in 1994-95.
Ths year's NKP Salve Challenger Trophy begins tomorrow with a match between India Blue and India Red at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif and S Badrinath lead India Blue, Green and Red respectively. This is a good chance to the players like Yuvraj, Uthappa, Virat Kohli, Mohamad Kaif to impress the selectors. Cheteshwar Pujara, who scored 386 against Maharashtra in the Under-22 CK Nayudu Trophy in Rajkot, has got an excellent opportunity to play along with the seniors.

The squads were announced on 12th October.

What the hell is Amit Mishra doing in Challengers series... He shud be playing against Australia.. Not some red, green and blue..

The blue team looks strong... and the reds a touch weak on paper... they ought to have made a better balance in the squads to make it more competitive.
